Guilt-free bakery-style cake with honey

I am sure most of us get sudden sugar cravings & often indulge in cakes, pastries, cookies, chocolates etc. Be it the late-night munching or a 15 mins break, the hands always lookout for something sweet. Isn’t it? These days post-Iftaar, my heart longs for a sugar rush. Hence to satisfy my cravings I made this scrumptious honey cake that can be consumed guilt-free. Ingredients

  • 4 eggs
  • 1/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 1 cup of   Eatopia Tulsi Honey
  • 1/4 tsp vanilla essence
  • 2 cups of all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 tsp baking powder into the wet mixture
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • ½ cup of chopped nuts & cherries. (Optional)

Instructions

  • 1Preheat the kadhai/wok for 15 mins.
  • 2Add 4 eggs & 1/4 cup vegetable oil into a large mixing bowl & beat at high speed until frothy.
  • 3In goes 1 cup of pure & premium honey @eatopiaworld. Beat for 2-3 minutes. Then add 1/4 tsp vanilla essence & beat it for a few seconds.
  • 4Sieve 2 cups of APL, 1/4 tsp baking powder into the wet mixture.
  • 5Cut & fold the wet & dry ingredients without over mixing the batter.
  • 6Then add 1/2 cup milk & mix gently.
  • 7Add the batter to a well-greased pan dusted with flour.
  • 8Tap gently. You can add chopped nuts & cherries. (Optional)
  • 9Place the cake tin. Cover & cook for 15 mins on high flame & then for 20-25 mins on medium flame.
  • 10Insert a toothpick to check if cooked properly or not.
  • 11Switch off the flame.
  • 12Allow the cake to cool down completely
  • 13Cut into your desired slices. Enjoy.
